The Youth Entrepreneurship Awards is hosted in Nigeria by Withworth Entrepreneurship Consultancy, London a local host partner of the Global Entrepreneurship Week event. Withworth is an entrepreneurial agency committed to helping people become more entrepreneurial. In the past Withworth Entrepreneurship Consultancy has worked in partnership with the office of the vice chancellor, University of Nigeria , Nsukka and the centre for entrepreneurship and development research, UNN where it helped the institution to build a formidable centre for developing youth enterprise.

The Withworth firm is the founder and organiser of the first and second annual Undergraduate Business Conference which was held first on the 14^th and 21^st of July 2007 at Protea Hotels Nike Lake Enugu and Terrakulture , Victoria Island , Lagos-Nigeria. In addition, the second annual conference which was held at the University of Nigeria , Nsukka was just concluded on the 25^th – 26^th of July, 2008. The conference has indeed helped to transform the mindset of more than 2000 Nigerian youths with over 1800 Nigerian youths attending the conference each year. The 3^rd annual conference is billed to hold at the University of Jos from May 7-8, 2009.

Our firm without mincing words is committed to the development of youth enterprise in Nigeria and has been noted as the first to initiate Youth Entrepreneurship Programmes in Nigeria . Since the inception of the Undergraduate Business Conference going around the six geographical zones of Nigeria , entrepreneurship education has been on the rise. We do believe that these awards will be another event to strongly promote entrepreneurship in Nigeria and indeed Africa at large.
