2007 Undergraduate Business Conference

Thank you to all speakers, sponsors, organizers, and participants for making the undergraduate Business Conference 2007 a success.

The first international undergraduate Business Conference was a real success! A record number of 1,831 undergraduate students, business leaders, policy makers including academic heads of departments of different universities discussed in Tour and Taxis how to deal with the monster called – unemployment.

During various lectures by the vice chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Ven. Prof. Chinedu Nebo, the publisher, Trumpet Newspaper London, Mr Femi Okutobo, the founder of Success Attitude Development Centre, Lagos, Dr Sunny Obazu Ojeasgbase and other like minds which include Osayi Alilie Oruene, Executive Director, Fate Foundation Lagos, Ekky Archibong, a social entrepreneur from United Kingdom among others, one message clearly stood out. Entrepreneurship is the only way forward towards reducing Unemployment.

We wish to thank specially the University of Nigeria authorities, Protea Hotels Nike Lake, Enugu, Samob Nigeria Limited, Complete Communication Limited, Businessday Newspaper, The SUN, NTA Enugu, Eteleson Merchants Limited, Kezz Foundation Schools, Young and Speed, International World youth Forum and Terra Kulture for making the first conference edition such a fruitful platform of exchange, knowledge and networking.
