The
Undergraduate Business Conference is
Nigeria
’s no 1 meeting place between business achievers and aspiring young entrepreneurs.
The conference is designed to be youth focused and an avenue where minds and hopes
lost can be regained through empowerment teachings. For years our youths, our graduates
have continued to look for non-existent jobs in the society. Not only that none
is forth coming but as months, years go by the hope of getting any seizes.
And we ask which way forward.
Undergraduate
Business Conference presents the only true solution to the problems youth face in
Nigeria
and
Africa
at large. Every year between the month of June or July, UBC presents a well packaged
Entrepreneurship conference focused on teaching youths how to be their own boss.
In an increasing difficult society we find ourselves in, people must begin to understand
that the only way forward in terms of financial liberation is Entrepreneurship.
The
conference has been designed to empower a group of young, dynamic and enterprising
young undergraduate students of business studies and also graduates interested in
starting their own business, building them through business education and life changing
experience. UBC offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate business students
to expand and sharpen their knowledge of business opportunities, giving them the
much needed skills they need to become the real entrepreneurs,
Nigeria
desperately needs.
It is an Indisputable fact today that
Nigeria
is in desperate need of dynamic and educated entrepreneurs as the drivers of an
economy projected by Goldman Sachs, a respected US based investment giant, to be
the 20 largest economies by 2020. Indeed,
entrepreneurship holds the key to the desired future of the unemployed Nigerian youths searching
for non-existent jobs upon graduation from their various universities.
Undergraduate
business conference exists to motivate, encourage and assist young business/non-business
undergraduate and graduates to start a venture at the earliest time and at the slightest
opportunity to overcome the rate of unemployment in the country. We feel strongly
that this conference will continue to benefit students, not just by motivating them
but also helping them to develop the right mindset and to unleash their latent potentials.
Mission Statement
The mission of the conference is ‘to make a growing impact in the lives of students
to become more entrepreneurial’.
The key to starting and growing a successful small business is getting the right
support and advice. And that is exactly what we want people to get at the conference
because we want to see thousands of successful new ventures launched as a direct
result of a visit to the conference.
The Conference Goal
The UBC goal is to create a nation of Entrepreneurs.
